SaaS - Public Cloud¶
Fast & Easy with the Rotronic SaaS Cloud solution:¶
Forget the hassle of having to maintain your IT infrastructure and focus only on what is crucial to your application. You can setup multiple measurement points in various locations and access the data from any device with a browser and internet connection. Setup alarms and notifications to be sure that you are always informed of what is happening!
The Rotronic public cloud is located in a data centre in Switzerland: SaaS/Cloud - IT Compliance.
| Important: The public cloud software will be updated on a regular basis based on the software releases from Rotronic AG. Rotronic AG recommend the Exclusive Cloud solution for all GxP applications. |

Software License:
The RMS-CLD licence is an ongoing licence and will be invoiced automatically if not canceled by the customer. See the SaaS contract for more details.
Software Releases:
The RMS Monitoring Software Cloud/SaaS is automatically updated when new releases are available. The user registered within the SaaS contract will be informed.
The minimum measurement interval correlates to the the cloud account:¶
- 5 minutes: Free & industrial accounts.
- 2 minutes: Small account.
- 1 minute: Professional & Enterprise accounts.
Telephone and SMS alarming:
Order: RMS-CLD-XDA.
SMS and telephone calls are invoiced on a monthly basis: RMS-CLD-XDAM.
Data Storage:
Data is only stored for the defined time frame, older data is deleted an no longer available. When the defined time frame is over, then the following data will be deleted:
- Measurement values.
- Events.
- Documents.
The following data will not be deleted:
- Calibration data.
- Archived elements.
Documents:
Documents are only stored on the server and in the system if the archiving and document function is enabled. If this function is not enabled, then the documents are created but not saved.
RMS-CLD-IND Limitations:
Once the MPT's are configured, they cannot be changed. If a change is required, then the MPT must be deleted and added again.
There is no limitations on the user side, but users need to ordered: RMS-CLD-XDMP.
Events & Audit Trail:
The audit trail corresponds to who did what and when. The events only do not contain these details.
