Spot check comparison	- Quick. - Useful for "checking". - Cost effective.	- Is not always accepted as a calibration. - Environmental effects. - Measurement uncertainty is rarely defined.
Single point calibration	- Covers the point where the calibration is carried out.	- Only covers the points where the calibration is carried out.
Multi point calibration	- Covers a complete range.	- It takes a longer time to carry out the calibration. - Higher cost.
