SaaS IT Requirements

What is required to run your account within the Rotronic Cloud/SaaS solution:

  • It is crucial that the port 80 is open in order for the communication to work.
  • Check the following links to ensure that the system will work on the Rotronic Cloud/SaaS solution:

IT must white list URL's so that the devices can communicate with the RMS server:

  • When working with the RMS Cloud below V1.2.1 or not working with encrypted devices over port 80:

  • When working with the RMS Cloud above V1.2.1 and encrypted devices over port 80:

  • The server will also communicate with the devices as of such the server IP address also needs to be white listed: 156.67.38.83.

What is required to Register your RMS Account within the Rotronic Cloud/SaaS solution:

  • The link to the website.
  • Your license code.

What is required to Log in to your RMS Account within the Rotronic Cloud/SaaS solution:

  • The link to the website.
  • Company name.
  • User name.
  • Password.

What is required to add devices to your account within the Rotronic Cloud/SaaS solution:

  • Admin rights.
  • A computer with internet connection and a web browser.
  • A 24 VDC power supply of PoE.
  • A free Ethernet port per device and a CAT5e Ethernet cable.
