Setup and Installation Checklist¶

You are a system administrator or IT Support is available to help with the network and server configuration.
A network server has been allocated to run the RMS server installation. I know the IP address and host name. It meets the minimum server requirements Operating System and Software.
I know the address of the network time protocol server in the network.
Your laptop or workstation has a supported web browser (Internet Explorer, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or similar).
You know where the program files and SQL database should be stored. A backup system is in place to make sure the files are recoverable in case of server failures.
You know if the local network security policy requires me to use a trusted TLS certificate.
I have the Link with the License Key and Zip file with the RMS Software ready on the server.

I have a plan that lists the serial number and installation location of each device.
The plan includes information on how each device will be mounted.
IP addresses have been allocated for the RMS devices and network connections (DHCP address reservations or static IP).
I know all additional equipment is prepared for the installation in freezers or climate chambers.
