Measuring Point Settings¶
The RMS device has the following properties and setting possibilities:
| Info | |
|---|---|
| ID | Unique ID for the measuring point (MPT-xx) |
| Type | Measuring point type or parameter Measuring element (e.g. HygroClipD) that is connected directly to the device. - Psychrometric Calculation Psychrometric calculation from humidity and temperature. - Arithmetic Calculation Arithmetic calculation (e.g. difference, sum, average, PT1 filter, etc.) - Virtual button Logical switch that can be operated by the user directly. - System measuring point A system measuring point counts events and can be monitored with an alarm threshold like a normal measuring point. It can also be used to measure the signal strength. Types of system measuring points: - Switch input counter Number of state changes of a logical input1 - Alarm time counter Duration of the alarm state2 of a measuring point. - Measuring point alarm counter Number of measured values of a measuring point in alarm state3 - Device refresh counter Counts when a device sends new measured values - Signal strength Measures the signal strength and writes it in the database like a measured value - Pending reminders - Pending warnings - Pending alarms - Pending errors - CPU load CPU load in % - Memory load Memory load in % - Measuring point updates Number of updated measuring points (valid for all measuring points, also calculations and counters) - Pending commands Number of Pending commands - Software exceptions Number of software errors - Active users Number of active users based on RMS pages loaded - Page loads Number of loaded RMS pages |
| Status | Measuring point is enabled in the system. - Disabled The system does not receive any data from the measuring point and alarms are also not triggered. |
| Serial number | Serial number of the probe (only in the case of interchangeable RMS probes) |
| Device | Name and ID of the device, including direct link to device settings |
| Last refresh | Time that has passed since the system last received data from the measuring point |
| Settings | |
| Name | Freely selectable measuring point name |
| Regulation status | Freely selectable regulation status (GMP / GLP / etc.) |
| Comment | Freely selectable comment |
| Details | Settings for a calculated measuring point or system counter |
| Group(s) | Group allocation (more than one group can be specified) |
| Alarm | |
| Mode | No alarm evaluation. - Measuring point The alarm limits are defined directly for the measuring point. - Alarm triggers The alarm limits are defined as alarm scheme (alarm triggers). |
| Warning | |
| Enabled / Disabled | Only enabled alarms are processed in the system |
| Lower limit | Lower limit value |
| Upper limit | Upper limit value |
| Hysteresis | Hysteresis |
| Delay | Delay in alarm notification |

1 Logical inputs can only have the states "1" or "0".
2 Alarm states are: "Warning" or "Alarm"
3 Alarm states are: "Warning" or "Alarm"
The following functions are available for editing measuring points:
| New | Add new measuring point |
|---|---|
| Archive | All information of the measuring point data set is archived and can be viewed in the archive. The data archive is described in the E-OM-RMS-WEB document. |
| Delete | Delete measuring point irretrievably.4 5 To delete a device, it is also necessary to enter a text in order to prevent accidental deletion of a device. |
| Save | Save measuring point settings |
4 So that measuring points can be deleted, this function must be enabled in the system settings.
5 Alarms relating to this measuring point are ended automatically and labels deleted from the "Layout" view.
