Default Configuration

The RMS-CONVERTER-100 is by default configured with DHCP active. That means that the RMS-CONVERTER-100 receives the IP address automatically from the DHCP server.

Important: Rotronic recommends using a fixed IP address for the RMS-CONVERTER-100 as well as for the digital devices. The reason being the support of the log function within the RMS-CONVERTER-100 in case of any interruption to the RMS server.

A fixed IP address can be set by a manual configuration via web browser or via the RMS-CONFIG Software.

The host name of the device is "rms-convXXXXXXXX" where XXXXXXXX is a space holder for the serial number without the first two digits "00" (see the bottom side of the RMS-Converter).
