Tools>Mapping Explained

The mapping tool is a function to qualify/characterize areas and equipment.

Requirements:

In order to create a mapping report, the mapping feature must be activated in the license: RMS-WEB/CLD-MAP.

• To create a mapping report preview, the user needs the right "View.Mapping > View".
• In order to create a mapping report (and thus save it as a report), the user needs the right "View.Mapping> Add".

Group Selection:

A mapping group needs to be created. The group can be selected via the group tree on the left-hand side (multiple groups cannot be selected).

Mapping Type:

• Area Characterization.
• Device Characterization.

Preview PDF report:

A preview PDF can be generated and opened in the browser using the Preview button. Preview PDF is not saved and has no Document ID.

Create PDF report:

A PDF report can be generated via the Create button, saved as a report in the documents and opened in the browser. Report PDF is saved in Documents under Report.
